When it was produced in the slightly sparkling or still version, prosecco was drunk by the litre.
Now that it has become bubbly, it is drunk “by the bucket”… no pun intended. Joking aside, the second fermentation used to create the bubbles gives prosecco its great abundance of fragrance and flavour.

The success enjoyed by prosecco lies first and foremost in the pleasant pronunciation of its name in every language, and then in the possibility to use it on any occasion, as an aperitif or sipping wine, served with the entire meal or only with the prawns, for toasting at graduations or various special occasions.

In the Brut version, considered the finest, the wine has a pleasant bouquet, with hints of fruit cocktail, and an appealing harmonious citrus flavour.
