The Pinot Grigio grape grows on a small bunch, with compact oval shaped fruits featuring the characteristic grey colour.
If the vinification takes place with the skin-on maceration method, a copper coloured wine results.
Alternatively, if the wine is made without the skins, the products will take on a vibrant straw yellow colour.

The latter method is generally preferred by winemakers. In this case, more refined wines are produced which have fruitier aromas, greater elegance and offer more stability over time. Surely with the “skin-on” method, more robust wines with pungent bouquets are obtained, appreciated by “true connoisseurs”.

We have given preference to the vinification withou the grape skins in order to please a broader international market: in fact, the wine is enjoyed for its fruity flavour, balanced and rounded mouth feel and its excellent drinkability in general.
